Technical Manager –

Initated the first foiling trials for Foilex and then began the first production runs in 1989. Managed the progress from solvent adhesives to hot melt technology, and was at the forefront of initial hot melt trials in conjunction with adhesive and foil suppliers.

Dave is well known and respected for his knowledge throughout the industry, and provides valuable technical information, advice and expertise to assist our customers.

Production Manager –

Joined the Epwin Group in April 1996 employed as a Materials Handler.
March 1998, Karl transferred to the foiling department where he has worked his way up from the factory floor as an operator to his position as Production Manager.

He is responsible for all production personnel, coordination of training and ensuring all procedures are followed, planning and scheduling.

Customer Service Manager-

Joined the Epwin Group in January 1999 employed as Materials Administrator. She was given the job of Supply Chain Coordinator when Foilex moved to its present site in 2001. During this time Emma was given in depth internal training to enable her to have a sound understanding of the foiling process.

In 2003 Emma was promoted to Customer Service Manager and is now responsible for ensuring all customers receive an excellent customer service level and that all orders are progressed in time.

General Manager –

Richard has been involved with the double-glazing and building industry for many years and has a good incite into the different requirements needed to operate a successful business and what expectations customers may have.

He served with the British Standards Institution as technical support specialist for the fenestration industry, during which time Richard visited over one hundred window fabricators/systems companies.

Following this Richard was operations manager with Status Systems (Deceuninck) and then operations manager for Swish Building Products, responsible for all production, maintenance, tooling, logistics and purchasing functions.

Richard was appointed General Manager of Foilex in October 2003.
